If you usually use two or more computers (one at work and another at home, for example), you've probably had a hard time trying to keep the same bookmarks listed on both computers' browsers.
Xmarks is one the simplest options out there to solve this small problem. This Firefox extension lets you sync the markers on different computers over the Internet. To do this, you just need to create a user completely free of charge and sync the content when you want to export or import the information. Logically, you also need to use Firefox as your web browser.
Xmarks sends your bookmarks to a private server that you can access online using any computer. If the other computer also has the extension installed, you can import the session and have the exact same bookmarks on both computers.
When it comes to syncing information, Xmarks lets you combine the links stored on the server with the bookmarks in your computer, or substitute one set of links for the other.
